Since Medicare was established, I've found that those who were covered by it were generally puzzled by either some aspect of their coverage or why their costs were higher than someone else's. With that date soon awaiting me when I need to register for Medicare, it occurred to me that a little study might be in order.

Checking out various government Web sites and those put up by insurance companies, I couldn't figure out answers to my questions such as:
1. What coverage should I take?
2. What will it cost?
3. How will my use of doctors and hospitals change?
At that point, I decided to look for a book on the subject and found this one.
Within an hour, I had every answer I needed and learned things that I didn't know enough to ask.
It turns out that I need to do something quite different from what I would have otherwise done, and it will save me a lot of money . . . and give me better coverage.
Check this book out. It will untie the Gordian knot of government regulations and private offerings.
